The long Goodbye

As many of you are now aware, we will be leaving the Rising Sun on Monday 2nd July.

We would like to thank everyone for the amazing support that we have been afforded over what have been an incredible 5 years, not only the custom which has meant so much to us, but the understanding and patience that we have received during what can only be described as a continual battle.

We have pushed and fought to put this Pub on the map and can only hope that the individuals that come after us can benefit from the hard work of which we are so proud.

We have impressed on Punch the importance of the Boules fixtures being honoured and they seem to understand the importance of that particular event.

The only other key point is that we will not be doing food from 3 until 6, Monday to Friday

The next 6 weeks will no doubt fly by and there are a number of key dates which we wish you to be aware:

The European Championships will of course be live on all screens – watch out for separate notices.

Steak Night will finish on Wednesday 13th June and the Quiz will finish the following week, the last day being Thursday 21st June.

We have brought The Rising Sun Mixed doubles forward and this will be played on Saturday 30th June which will be our last weekend.

The same evening we will be having an 80’s Disco/ Karaoke party which we hope all will turn up to.

Sunday of course will be our last night and will also be the final of the European Championship which will be obviously fun if England make it but not very likely.

Thank you again and we look forward to having the opportunity to seeing everyone who has supported this Pub at one time or another before we go.
